We’re seeking a highly organised and people-focused Workplace Operations Manager to lead hard and soft services across multiple office sites in the Birmingham region.
You’ll take ownership of facilities delivery including cleaning, maintenance, reception, catering, and event support, ensuring every workplace is engaging, compliant, and aligned with client expectations. As the visible point of contact between stakeholders and site teams, your ability to drive operational excellence while creating a positive employee experience will be key.
This is a strategic yet hands-on leadership role ideal for someone experienced in multi-site facilities or hospitality operations who’s ready to influence how people experience their workplace every day.
🛠 Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day delivery of all workplace services
Manage performance of on-site teams, vendors, and third-party suppliers
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality
Lead training, performance reviews, and development programs for site teams
Implement service improvements, identify inefficiencies, and resolve operational issues
Track SLA/KPI performance and manage workplace budgets
Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, aligning service with business needs
✅ Ideal Candidate:
Experience managing FM, hospitality, or workplace services across multiple locations
Strong leadership and people management capabilities
Working knowledge of health & safety, building compliance, and sustainability practices
Tech-savvy with experience in workplace management systems (CAFMs, Helpdesk tools)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
